Be emotionally prepared! Lies will be told about you, truth stretched etc., especially if you spouse has an attorney.

The good news is you can read up on "Motion To Strike" at the law library.
You must object in writing to all lies in the papers filed by the other side. You must also object to all lies said about you at the court hearing.
If you do not Object or Strike the lie: this means the lies are TRUE and an appeal will fail.
This is when the "Law Library" becomes HOME! If you don't know your rights you have no rights.

Schedule at least 3 people to go with you to court.
Make yourself a SCRIPT.
CALL COURT REPORTERS- Confirm one will be present at your hearing. If the Court Reporter is not set up when your Case is called IMMEDIATELY tell the judge you have scheduled a Court Reporter, and you will not continue until a Reporter arrives!
